Our Vision
Putting Iowa’s Student-Athletes First
The Track Guy Foundation was started by the Mike Jay family in October of 2018, for the sole purpose of giving back to the great sports of Track and Field and Cross Country. These sports have been so important to our family over the years, providing amazing opportunities and experiences.
Track Guy Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The Foundation is committed to putting Iowa’s student-athletes first and ensuring that cross country and track and field experiences are available to all interested youth.
Some things we have been able to do for Iowa kids thus far: purchase shoes, funding for camps, scholarships for graduating seniors, and coaching clinics.
It is a true honor to have so many ambassadors for these sports standing behind our values and supporting our mission.
Since October 2018, Track Guy has gifted 525 pairs of shoes, has gifted nearly fifty $500 scholarships and assisted in funding for 50 Iowa kids to attend a summer running camp.

the 2022 & 2023 calendar yearS:
Gifted 204 pairs of running shoes or spikes to Iowa kids in need.
Granted $500 scholarships to 29 graduating high school seniors.
Assisted in funding for 22 Iowa kids to attend a summer running camp.
Goals for 2024:
Gift 150 pairs of running shoes to student-athletes in the state of Iowa
Grant $500 scholarships to 12 graduating seniors to aid in their continued education
Sponsor 10 young athletes to go to a cross country and/or track and field camp of their choosing
Continue to aid those in need of financial support to belong to cross country and/or track and field clubs across Iowa
